Associate Coach Shaun Adamson

Shaun started racing mountain bikes at the age of 14 after competing and participating in many sports and activities through his childhood. As his commitment to mountain biking increased, he got a road bike to start training, leading to more and more road racing. From there he got an offer to start racing cyclocross at the 2003 nationals in Vancouver; he was hooked.

Shaun has been a member of the Alberta Provincial Cycling Team at the Tour de l'Abitibi and many Cyclocross National Championships, as well as being involved with the coaching and organization of Alberta Bicycle Association Racing Committee and Provincial Team. He raced as a member of the Canadian National Cyclocross Team at U23 World Championships in Hooglede-Gits, Belgium and Treviso, Italy.

Shaun has worked with a number of different coaches, most recently spending 2 full seasons directly under Adam's tutelage, along with pursuing a Physical Education degree at the University of Alberta.  Now he is committed to using everything he has learned and all of his experience to help other athletes reach their cycling goals.

When he's not based in Belgium for 'cross, Shaun calls Edmonton, Alberta home, and is currently accepting new clients.
