Series Points are tallied for and a leader’s jersey awarded after each event to:
- Elite Men
- U23 Men
- Elite Women
- Cat 2/3 Men
- Masters 35+
- Masters 45+
- Masters 55+
- Under-19 (U19) Juniors
- 10-14 year-old Juniors
- Individual Race Prize Lists
The Elite Men's and Elite Women's prize list is subject to the current year UCI list of Financial Obligations for Cyclocross, according to the UCI race category. The 1/2/3 Masters prize list and the U19 Junior prize list is based on the current UCI Financial Obligations for Juniors. See the UCI website for details.

- Entry Fees
- Elite Men: $45
- Elite Women: $35 (If prize money is equal, entry fee can be $40.)
- 1/2/3 Masters 35/45: $35
- U-19 Juniors, 2/3 Men, Masters 55: $30
- 4 Men, 3/4 Women, 3/4 Masters 35/45: $25
- 10-14 Juniors: $15 in all cases, with no late fee.
- Race Duration
The length of races must be as close as possible to:
- 40 minutes for Elite Women's events
- 40 minutes for Junior Men's events
- 60 minutes for Elite Men’s events and for events in which Elite and Under 23 riders compete together.
- 45 minutes for 2/3 Men and 1/2/3 Master Men
- 40 minutes for 4 Men, 3/4 Women, 3/4 Masters

- Overall Series Awards
The top 5 riders in the Elite Men and Elite Women categories will be eligible to receive overall series prizes from the NECCS. The prizes are:
- 1st place - $400
- 2nd place - $225
- 3rd place - $150
- 4th place - $125
- 5th place - $100
Eligible riders
must be in attendance at the overall awards ceremony following the final race of the series to recieve these prizes.
- Call-up Procedures
All fields for series races will be lined-up in the starting grid via the following methods:
- Elite/U23 Men - currently published UCI points, NECCS elite men series points, NECCS U23 men series points, order of registration.
- Elite Women - currently published UCI points, NECCS series points, order of registration.
- Cat 2/3 Men, Junior U19, Junior 10-14, Masters 55+ - current NECCS series points, order of registration.
- Cat 1/2/3 Masters 35+/45+ - current NECCS 35+ series points, NECCS 45+ series points, order of registration.
- Cat 4 Men, Cat 3/4 Masters 35+, Cat 3/4 Women - order of registration.
- General Rules
- All races are sanctioned by USA Cycling, the national governing body of cycling in the United States.
- All races count towards the overall standings; no dropped rounds. No double points at any race of the series.
- The tiebreaker for overall standings is the result of the last run event.
- Riders that are 1st place in the series standings for their category/class MUST wear the provided leader's jersey in that race. Failure to do so will result in a $200 fine and/or loss of overall series prize eligibility and/or a deduction of 50 series points. All penalties will be determined by NECCS staff on a case-by-case basis as appropriate.
