The emphasis of this clinic is on technique for cyclo-cross. Come join Cycle-Smart coach John Verheul, to learn important skills for riding and racing cyclo-cross.

This clinic is open to all ability levels, and suitable for cyclo-cross bikes, mountain bikes, and road bikes (with knobby tires, of course). We will break up into groups based on ability level and work on developing solid cyclo-cross skills at the Christie Hoffman Farm.

entry of $5 (juniors free); participants must have an USCF/NORBA license (1-day licenses available at registration).

Directions: Best approach for all those coming from west, south, and east is to take Rt. 78 to exit 24 (Oldwick Whitehouse exit). Head north on Rt. 523/517. After approx. 2 miles, and just outside of Oldwick, it becomes Rt. 517 (aka The Old Turnpike). Stay on 517 north thru Oldwick, pass the Old Turnpike School (start to the former Tewksbury TT) to the traffic light in Fairmount at Fairmount Road (aka County Route 512). Make left at light and proceed approx. 0.5 miles to Christie Hoffman on left.

Approach from North is off Rt. 80 (Exit #? For 206 South).Rt. 206 south to light at Rt. 24 west in Chester (Larison's Turkey Farm on right corner). Take 24 west (right) to Long Valley, Make a left off Rt. 24 onto 517 South (at Traffic Light at base of Schooley's Mountain & Long Valley Brew Pub). Take 517 South approx. 3 miles to first light at Fairmount Road (as above). Make right on Fairmount Road and go approx. 0.5 miles to lot on left.
