Cycle-Smart Tampa Training Camp

Tampa, Florida February 19 - February 27, 2005

Registration is now open for the Cycle-Smart Tampa Training Camp!

Space for the camp is limited, so go to to register.

Come join other Cycle-Smart clients and coaches as we recreate the experience of a professional team camp in sunny, warm Tampa, Florida! In this 9-day, 2-weekend camp, we'll train in groups on the rolling roads north of Tampa, providing a great opportunity not only to get some early season miles in, but also to get some in-person coaching from the Cycle-Smart staff. Our base will be the Extended Stay America in Temple Terrace, on the northeast edge of metro Tampa.

Why Tampa? With exceptional fares and ease of air travel, a short ride from the hotel out of the city to the surprisingly rolling country roads. Tampa is incredibly convenient. And with warmer average temperatures and less traffic than Tucson, Tampa has the best of everything.

We'll follow a traditional Cycle-Smart training week, with sprints, threshold work, and endurance days, with most evenings free to explore the city. On some evenings, there will be short coaching and Q & A sessions with the Cycle-Smart coaching staff, and coaches will also be available for bike fittings over the course of the week. A mechanic will be on hand for the duration of the camp, and a support vehicle will accompany all of the rides. Massage therapy will be available for an additional fee.

To keep the price affordable and maximize training time in the nice weather, we will not be doing any physiological testing at this camp.
